Poetic Reflection Circle – What If..? Longing & Unexplored Paths

What if…? is about the paths we’ve never walked, yet that have never left us – a longing that persists and echoes within us, not because something ended, but because it never began. It lingers in quiet moments, in passing thoughts, in the spaces between what is and what could have been.

So what if… we wander through longing, regret, and desire through the deep lens of poetry? Not as something to analyze, but as something to feel, notice, and express with metaphors, images, and imagination… and see what unfolds when we follow the thread of “what if…”.

What & for whom?

This is a playful, guided evening open to all – whether you write, love reading and sharing poetry, or are simply curious to listen and explore these themes through a poetic lens.

How?

We’ll share poems/lyrical texts, reflect on the theme of „what if…“, and, if you feel inspired, experiment with your own words through gentle prompts. You’re welcome to bring a poem (in any language), or simply come to listen and be carried by the experience and the words of others.

Was wäre wenn…? handelt von den Wegen, die wir nie gegangen sind – und die uns doch nie ganz verlassen haben. Eine Sehnsucht, die bestehen bleibt und in uns nachhallt, nicht weil etwas geendet hat, sondern weil es nie begonnen hat. Sie zeigt sich in stillen Momenten, in flüchtigen Gedanken, in den Zwischenräumen zwischen dem, was ist, und dem, was hätte sein können.

Was wäre also, wenn wir Sehnsucht, Reue und Verlangen durch die tiefe Linse der Poesie erkunden? Nicht als etwas, das analysiert werden muss, sondern als etwas, das wir fühlen, wahrnehmen und mit Metaphern, Bildern und Vorstellungskraft ausdrücken können… und sehen, was sich entfaltet, wenn wir dem Faden des „Was wäre wenn…“ folgen.

Was & für wen?

Dies ist ein spielerischer, angeleiteter Abend für alle – egal ob du selbst schreibst, gerne Gedichte liest und teilst oder einfach neugierig bist zuzuhören und diese Themen durch eine poetische Perspektive zu erkunden.

Wie?

Wir teilen Gedichte/lyrische Texte, reflektieren über das Thema „Was wäre wenn…“ und – wenn du dich inspiriert fühlst – experimentieren mit eigenen Worten anhand sanfter Schreibimpulse. Du kannst gerne ein Gedicht mitbringen (in jeder Sprache) oder einfach kommen, zuhören und dich von der Erfahrung und den Worten der anderen tragen lassen.
